Undercover Principal: My 3rd Grade Experience

Many people have seen the TV show Undercover Boss where the CEO go undercover in their companies to understand the day to day operation.  Well Patriot #1 will be going "undercover" at Pitner to understand how Pitner works on a day to day basis.  No Dr. Hosey will not be in disguise or sneaking around.  However, I will be spending an entire day with a class at each grade level to learn, see and experience what students and teachers experience each day at Pitner.
Today was my first experience in 3rd grade. I spent the day with Ms. Robinson's "Razors and Bucket Fillers".  It was an awesome day.

We began our day with Math. After Ms. Robinson introduced the concept of multiplication, she demonstrated finding factors.  Then students work in pairs to find factors using tokens.

then students worked on Reading , followed by recess and lunch.

After lunch students worked on Social Studies , Writing , and then ended the day in Specials.

 

 

 

 

 Pitner Elementary is blessed to have such wonderful and caring teachers such as Mr. Robinson working here everyday. Stay tuned for my next Undercover Principal Experience... 5th grade!!
