Hello Proud Patriot Family . This is  Patriot #1 Dr. Hosey.  I am calling you with your Pitner Weekly Update. Every week I will give the important things that you need to know for the upcoming school week.  Here are the things you need to know for the week of August 29th-Sept. 2:

  • Thanks for supporting Back to School Bash on Friday at Stars and Strikes. We hope you and your family had a great time.
  •  Carpool reminder. In the morning parents please be patient in car pool line. Please do not drop off students on Wade Green road.  Please do not block the intersection and do not drop students off in the bus port. 
  • Thank you again to our Pitner FBI Dads for their help with Carpool line each Friday morning.
  • Thank you for helping our student participate in our College Day on Friday! Please go to my blog to see some of the photos from the day.
  • Parents we are entering the 5th week of school and hopefully your student has settled into good study habits , school routines, and daily expectations.  Please remember to ask your student how their day was and what happen great at school each day.
  • Please have a discussion with your student about making good choices and their behavior when they are not in structured academic time such the bus ride to and from school, in the cafeteria during lunch and breakfast  and on the playgrounds.
  • The Front Office at Pitner closes at 3:30pm.  There will not be someone to answer the door. Please pick your students up in the back bus port for clubs and ASP.
  • At the end of this week we will have a little break as we celebrate the official end to summer with our Labor weekend holiday. School will be closed on Monday September 5th.
  • PTSA membership forms will be sent home next week for another opportunity to   become a member of the PTSA. It's never too late! 
  • The Next PTA event will be Guston’s Grille Spirit Night at the Wade Green Road Location  September 15th.
